Every year around the holidays, people start talking about their New Year’s resolutions.

“I need to lose 15 pounds.”
“I want to stop drinking so much.”
“This is the year I’m going to make my mark!”

Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with wanting a better life and taking action to get there. I hopped on the resolutions bandwagon and posted an Instagram on New Year’s Eve about my intentions for the coming year. It was super simple: just one thing I want to leave behind in 2015 and one thing I want to manifest in 2016.

Setting goals is great and everyone should do it, but…

The energy underneath our intentions determines the kind of life that we will manifest for ourselves.

What thoughts are driving your “good” intentions and goals?

How you will establish a practice of accepting your imperfections. Just as there are a million ways to find something wrong with yourself, there are a million ways to love yourself.

Even though I'm not perfect, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Click To Tweet
